I work for The Man
I guess I am the only one who doesn’t think Latifah said anything wrong.
I think she is completely right, the only who can judge another person is god (if you believe in him/her).
And as far as how men feel a about her, I probably have a dozen lesbian friends who attract men like crazy and it’s not because they are lesbians.
My friend K and I used to laugh about how the two of us would be sitting in a bar and every man in the place would hit on her and not me. We think it boils down to a strength and confidence that is more visible in an environment where you just aren’t ‘trying’ to get any attention.
Its the ‘trying’ that’s a turnoff. Regardless. I love Latifah. Always have an always will. And her girl is HOT!

Queen Latifah plus lady friend.

Homo say what?

Her lady friend is cute!

I was a huge Queen Latifah fan for about 15 years, then I read an incredibly insulting interview she did with Glamour magazine in it’s September 2007 issue & now I refuse to support her until she actually comes out. I understand that some celebrities don’t publicly come out, though I wish they would, but I will not support a closeted celebrity who spouts off trite shit because she’s afraid to admit who she is & afraid to show complete support for her gay & lesbian brothers & sisters. There is no excuse. We go around talking about how fabulous is while she’s too scared of her public image to love herself. She’s not fabulous, she’s a hypocrite.
Here’s the quote:
GLAMOUR: Do you have an opinion on gay marriage?QL: I don’t know that it should be called marriage. But the idea of it is the same and you should have same quality of rights that a married person has. People think of marriage as something that is between a man and a woman, because it was created by God. Well, let God handle the judgement, too. You stay out of it.
And here’s another little bit that pissed me off because nothing annoys me off more than women who use lesbian activity to titillate a man. Fuck those bitches.
GLAMOUR: It’s always said about male actors that the minute they’re presumed gay, it’s a sign they’ve really made it.QL: Sweet! That’s cool. I don’t know if that works for female actors, though. Luckily, this gay thing hasn’t messed up my appeal to the gentlemen, because I have never had any problems meeting men. Maybe they get turned on by the idea of that!
