“I spend too much time at work doing my job.” So true.
If I spent half as much time building relationships, expanding my network and looking for opportunities to advance my career as I do, coaching people who will never remember to thank me, filing paperwork that no one will read (unless someone’s ass is on the line), writing reports that in a very veiled way blame someone for something they will never be held accountable for, I wouldn’t be hanging out in my glass tower banging my head against the wall(window).
