Complaint #400
In honor of 400 White Whines, I’d like to post what is still my favorite to this day.
“Can’t they just make ski boots that are easier to walk in?”
- Whine by Robert Lyons
I think I may have actually said this - more than once.

To maximize the benefits of your hard work in a spin class, you really need to position your body correctly. After setting up your bike, here is a checklist of things you should try to remember while riding. Start from the head down: ::
- Head up
- Shoulders down and relaxed. Away from your ears
- Chest up
- Back slightly curved
- Core egaged. ABS IN! (This is the most important because it keeps the weight of the wheel out of your quads and arms.)
- Legs parallel
- Pull your knees up, don’t just push your feet down
- Feet flat
- Push your heels down to dig when climbing
ugh - spell-freaking-check = crucial
