This is so true. When I busted my knee skiing in April, the first thing my physical therapist told me is, ‘you’re athletic and in good shape, recovery will be easier for you.’
I guess this is probably something anyone who is going through a physical (cancer, pneumonia, the flu) or emotional (divorce, unemployment, break-ups) crisis needs to get through it.
